Mitch Harris is above all else, a storyteller.
Mitch has performed throughout Austin as an actor, has founded and directed creative writing education programs, and has been published in multiple newspapers, literary journals, creative writing anthologies, and blogs as a writer.
Mitch uses all of these mediums in order to take human stories and share them in a real, powerful, and tangible way.
Mitch has BFA in Theater Performance from St. Edward's University and is an Actors Equity Membership Candidate. He is a member of the Writer's League of Texas and an alumnus of Leadership Austin's Emerge Program 2016.
Mitch volunteers his time supporting the Austin arts community as a Steering Committee Member for the original theatre festival 14/48 Austin. He serves as the Leadership Seminar Chair for the Texas Capital Area branch of HOBY and is a Texas State Parks Ambassador.
Mitch currently works as the Literacy to Life Program Director with the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.
Additionally, Mitch loves traveling, beer, folk music, friendship, political activism and the Nintendo Switch.
